About me

About Me

Whether it is navigating the challenges of parenting or untangling the complicated symptoms of anxiety and depression, I have the tools to lighten the load you have been carrying for so long. Over the last 10 years I have been providing counseling services and utilizing evidence-based interventions that allow patients to regain control of their lives.

I attended California State University, Long Beach and began seeing my first clients in 2007. I gained my clinical experience working in a psychiatric hospital where I treated adolescents, teens and adults struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, psychosis and anxiety.

I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2012 and since that time, I have continued to work with individuals and families struggling with life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety disorders, and depression.

In my private practice, I personalize my treatment approach to fit the needs of each individual client. I specialize in working with new parents, postpartum mothers, teens, adults, and couples struggling with depression and anxiety. My theoretical orientation is a blend between cognitive behavioral orientation (exploring relationships between a person’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors) and solution-focused orientation (focusing on a person’s present and future goals).
